6th KIOS Graduate Training School takes place on 2-5 September

The "6th KIOS Graduate Training School" on intelligent systems and control will be taking place on 2-5 September at the University of Cyprus Library or via Zoom.

This year’s Training School will focus on optimisation, data-driven control, and cybersecurity with applications in industrial and power systems.

The four-day programme will also focus on Machine Learning, Control Theory, and related areas aiming to train researchers, MSc/PhD students and young professionals. The training will be provided by three world-recognised experts in their fields:

  • Prof. Jalal Kazempour - Technical University of Denmark. Course: Electricity market design and bidding strategy
  • Prof. Awais Rashid - University of Bristol, UK. Course: Cyber Security of Industrial Control Systems
  • Prof. Florian Dörfler - ETH Zürich. Course: Data-Enabled Predictive Control of Autonomous Energy Systems

The Training School is jointly organised by the University of Cyprus and Imperial College London, under the umbrella of the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence (KIOS CoE). The KIOS CoE is the largest research and innovation center in Cyprus on ICT, focusing on intelligent systems and networks with applications in monitoring, control, management and security of Critical Infrastructure Systems.
