Breezy signs cooperation agreement with RTV EURO AGD

Breezy, a subsidiary of Cyprus-based ASBIS and a leader in the trade-in, recycling, and refurbishing of devices, has signed a significant cooperation agreement with RTV EURO AGD network.

RTV EURO AGD is a prominent retail chain of electronics and household appliances in Poland, known for its leadership in the industry. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in promoting responsible device use and sustainability.

Breezy currently operates on 7 markets and is the leader in Trade-In services in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Georgia. In 2023, Breezy refurbished 160,000 phones, reducing CO2 equivalent emissions by 12,640 tons. In addition, by exchanging their electronic devices in the Trade-In system in Breezy Experience Stores and the company’s partner stores, customers saved around $20 million last year.

Andrii Kosar, CEO of Breezy, commented: The partnership with RTV EURO AGD is an important stage in the expansion of our business on the European market. We see great potential for the development of Trade-In in the region. Our experience in implementing the service in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Georgia, where we have achieved a leading position, shows its high demand. We believe that the same results can be achieved in other countries of Eastern Europe and the CEE region.”

RTV EURO AGD is the first retail electronics company on the Polish market, operating continuously since 1990. For over 30 years, the company has been a technology expert and has consistently set trends, being the first to introduce new solutions and brands to the market. The company operates in an omnichannel model, offering technologically advanced products through over 330 stationary stores, 16 logistics centers, the euro.com.pl online store and via a hotline. Each store employs experts who help make purchasing decisions that best suit the customer’s needs. RTV EURO AGD also provides a full range of shopping-related services, such as: favorable 0% installments (APR 0%), insurance, as well as transport, assembly and other services related to the use of equipment.

Andrzej Krzysztofowicz, Commercial Leader of Breezy Poland, commented: Over the years, Breezy has introduced a number of innovations that have made the Trade-In service convenient for our partners’ sellers and customers. Key features include a mobile app for device evaluation, an AI-based evaluation by photos tool, and process optimisation to minimize the time spent on a single device. All our partners in Poland have full access to the comprehensive Trade-In service, and we are constantly striving to increase the number of our partners.”

The Trade-In program allows buyers to exchange devices and use their value to buy any device from the wide range of RTV EURO AGD stores. Breezy provides a transparent and fully automated assessment of the device’s condition, based on over 55 indicators, which takes up to 3 minutes. Immediately after this assessment, the customer receives an RTV EURO AGD gift voucher worth the phone, which can be used to buy any equipment in the store, including brands such as Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, Vivo, Oppo, Realme, and Honor. The difference in the value of the new device and the voucher is covered by the buyer.
