As she had emphasised, in September 2021, in an interview with InBusinessNews , the Managing Director of Debbie's Cookies, Irena Damianou, the biggest challenge the company had to face during the pandemic was maintaining the excellent quality of the products at as stable a price as possible, since the increases in the cost of raw materials in Cyprus were continuous.

The company philosophy has remained intact over the years, with Debbie's Cookies remaining a family business, a small team, offering beloved products at the same quality.

At the end of August, the company, in a post announcing the upcoming lockout, announced that it was proceeding with the sale of the store's equipment.
