Exciting job opportunity at KIOS

KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence has announced three new job openings as Special Scientist for Research (Research Engineer and/or Research Associate), focusing on the resilience of critical infrastructures.

Successful candidates will work on the Horizon Europe Project, SPARROW, contributing to developing innovative solutions for enhancing societal resilience and crisis management.
After the end of the project, the successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on other KIOS CoE projects funded by the European Union, as well as on national or industry-funded projects, to help the Center achieve its strategic objectives.
The SPARROW project is a 3-year Horizon Europe Research and Innovation project, with KIOS CoE as the project coordinator. The project will develop solutions for enhancing societal resilience and crisis management in the face of digital breakdowns. Employing a modular architecture encompassing data integration, simulation modeling, and a collaborative platform, SPARROW orchestrates large datasets and expert insights to create a dynamic digital twin of a city.
