The non-executive vice-chairman of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Bank, Christos Themistocleous, has submitted his resignation from the Board, with immediate effect.

Themistocleous’ resignation was announced by Hellenic Bank in an announcement to the Cyprus Stock Exchange, with the Board of Directors expressing its thanks for his contribution and services to the Board and the Hellenic Bank Group

It is noted that Themistocleous was appointed as the vice-chairman of the bank's Board of Directors after last year's annual general meeting and was acting as the Chairman of the Board of Directors until the necessary approvals were received from the European Central Bank and Petros Christodoulou was able to assume his duties as Chairman.
