UNIC announces two faculty vacancies in General Practice / Family Medicine

The University of Nicosia Medical School has announced two new faculty positions in General Practice / Family Medicine, in the Department of Primary Care and Population Health.

The positions are: Associate Professor or Professor of General Practice/ Family Medicine, and Assistant Professor of General Practice / Family Medicine.

Duties will include practising General Medicine at the University of Nicosia Medical Centre; the delivery of instruction and the refinement of teaching methodology and curriculum content for General Practice/Family Medicine within the relevant degree programs of the Medical School; and the development of personal research activity, the organisation, coordination and guidance of a research group, and the attainment of external funding for the research activity.

In terms of qualifications, both vacancies require a Medical Degree; relevant postgraduate medical qualification (such as MRCGP or equivalent); excellent knowledge of Greek and English (the language of instruction is English); and the ability to obtain a licence to practice General Practice/Family Medicine in Cyprus.
