Sophic: New issue of Treasury Bills on 26 August

Sophic, an investment platform provided by Athlos Capital, has announced that the new issue of Republic of Cyprus Treasury Bills will take place on Monday, 26 August.

According to the platform’s announcement, the T-bills will have a duration of three months and will expire on 29 November, 2024.

“Sophic intends to secure part of the release to make the Bills available to its customers as it has done with previous releases . Treasury Bills offer attractive returns and are a safe haven for retail investors and businesses who want to manage their available liquidity in the best possible way,” the company’s announcement continues.

“It is recalled that in the previous editions, Sophic and Athlos Capital secured a large part of the Bills issued by the Republic, thus giving the platform's clients the opportunity to invest in products with particularly attractive returns and certainly higher than those offered by the banks' deposit rates. The last two quarterly Treasury Bills issues yielded 3.67% and 3.74%,” the announcement concluded.
