Cyprus-Egypt FMs discuss close cooperation, strategic partnership

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Constantinos Kombos, has had a telephone conversation with his new Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, during which they discussed issues concerning the strategic partnership and the close cooperation between the two countries, the EU-Egypt relations and regional developments.

In a message on "X", the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Kombos " spoke with his new counterpart of Egypt Badr Abdelatty, congratulating him and wishing every success in his new duties."

It added that "discussion focused on strategic partnership & close cooperation between Cyprus and Egypt, EU-Egypt relations & regional developments." The call took place on 7 July.
