KIOS presents groundbreaking research at international conference

KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence’s researchers presented their groundbreaking research work recently at the 46th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, in Orlando, Florida.
Dr Kosmia Loizidou, Nicolas Hadjittoouli and Professor Costas Pitris, presented their work on medical image analysis for enhancing accurate breast cancer diagnosis and improving skull fracture features using the azimuthal equidistant projection technique.
Research Lecturer, Dr Andreas Kasis, presented a novel approach for forecasting pandemic infections, developed in collaboration with Dr. Kleanthis Malialis, PhD, Assist. Prof. Panayiotis Kolios, and KIOS Alumni Marianna Karapitta and Charithea Stylianides
