KIOS presents work at IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence in Japan

The KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence research team recently showcased their cutting-edge work at the flagship IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence in Japan.

The KIOS team’s presentations were about online machine learning for dynamic graphs to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of data-driven decisions; synergising human-like responses and machine intelligence to enhance planning and decision making in disaster response; and machine learning techniques for detection of anomalies in constantly changing data streams.

“The contributions by our research team, Dr. Kleanthis Malialis, PhD, Dr. Savvas Papaioannou, Jin Li, Prof. Christos Panayiotou, Prof. Marios Polycarpou, and Assist. Prof. Panayiotis Kolios, have highlighted KIOS's commitment to advancing the frontiers of computational intelligence,” KIOS said on its LinkedIn.

IEEE WCCI 2024 is the world’s largest technical event on computational intelligence, featuring the three flagship conferences of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) under one roof: The International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN), the IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE) and the IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation (IEEE CEC).
