CING Bioinformatics Department holds fourth annual internal conference

The CING Bioinformatics Department (C-BIG) held its fourth annual internal conference (C-BIG iCon 2024) on 4 June.

The opening session of the conference was held in the Hall of the Old Synod, Metochion of the Holy Monastery of Panagia of Kykkos. This year, the distinguished guest for the opening session and discussion was Triantafyllos Stylianopoulos, Associate Professor at the University of Cyprus, Head of the Cancer Biophysics Laboratory.

The Head of C-BIG, Prof. George Spyrou, said: "We are grateful to the Holy Monastery of Panagia of Kykkos for the gracious hospitality and to Triantafyllos Stylianopoulos for his insightful discussion. The excellent presentations by the C-BIG members highlighted the current and future research goals of the Department."
