€9.8m contract signed to upgrade Tseriou Road in Strovolos

The Municipality of Strovolos has signed a €9.8m contract with Cyfield Construction Limited to improve the road network in the suburb’s busy Tseriou Road.
Works were to commence immediately after the contract was signed on 22 May and are expected to last 104 weeks.
The cost of the works, calculated at €9,836,275.20 +VAT, will be taken on 80% by the state and 20% by the Municipality of Strovolos, in line with a Council of Ministers decision to designate it as an urban planning project.
