Eurogate welcomed its staff at Limassol port for a special family event

In a bid to educate, entertain and strengthen its bond with its employees, Eurogate Container Terminal Limassol held a special family event at the container terminal for its personnel, under the theme 'Nutrition and Exercise.'

According to a press release from the company, the families of staff members had the opportunity to see the special container terminal up close and get tips on maintaining a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise.

Parents and children toured the terminal on board an open-top bus, from where they got to see the operation of the port’s equipment and cranes. Subsequently, a special nutritionist educated children through a theatre game and an interactive reading of the 'Dangerous Nutrition Mission' book on healthy nutrition, while archery and basketball coaches presented the two sports and organized games for children and adults alike.

In a statement, Eurogate Container Terminal Limassol’s Chief Operating Officer, Alexandros Demetriades said, “It was a special experience for all Eurogate staff, as we welcomed our family members to the terminal, which is a special and impressive workplace. Our people are our top priority, and in this framework, we try to implement actions that aim to both entertain and educate our employees and their families.”
