A Night in Havana – Jazz Fusion concert for TELETHON

TELETHON and the Embassy of Cuba in Cyprus with the collaboration of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra have announced the musical concert A Night in Havana – Jazz Fusion.

"Α magical evening with a well-known repertoire of jazz, Latin jazz and jazz fusion. Timeless melodies, flowing rhythms interpreted by two amazing, internationally renowned Cuban artists that will transport you to exotic Havana!," an announcement on the event notes.

Rolando Luna is a world-class pianist, composer and arranger whose inventiveness, virtuosity and musicality make him a stand-out artist, the announcement continues, adding that the Cuban vocalist and soloist singer Marjorie Montero captivates the hearts of audiences with her sensuous, warm voice and unique style of interpretation. Rolando Luna made the arrangements for the Symphony Orchestra, especially for the Telethon concert. The Conductor is Yiorgos Kountouris.

All proceeds will go to TELETHON.

TELETHON is organised by The Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics and the Cyprus Muscular Dystrophy Association and all proceeds support people with muscular dystrophy and the research programs of the CING.
