Marios Giorgoudis becomes Municipal Engineer at Ipsonas Municipality

After close to three years as General Manager at TechIsland, Marios Giorgoudis has left the organisation to become a Municipal Engineer at the Municipality of Ipsonas in West Limassol.

A Civil Engineer by profession, Giorgoudis announced the news in a LinkedIn post, saying, “I'm delighted to share that I'm currently serving as the Municipal Engineer at the Municipality of Ipsonas, West Limassol. West Limassol is poised for remarkable growth and development, especially with the local government reform underway. As one of the largest municipalities in Cyprus with tremendous prospects ahead, West Limassol presents an exciting opportunity for me to contribute to its evolution and serve its vibrant community.”

He continued, “I'm immensely grateful for the enriching experiences and invaluable connections I've gained during my service at TechIsland. It's been a privilege to work alongside such dedicated professionals and contribute to the success of the organization.”

Prior to his time at TechIsland, Giorgoudis was Chief Operating Officer at Melior, a Project Officer at the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation & Digital Policy, a Civil Engineer at AtlasPantou Co Ltd, EDT Marine Construction, Chr. Athanasiou Construction and Development and Medcon Construction Ltd.

He has also been an Investment Promotion Officer and Invest Cyprus and an Administrative Attache at a Cyprus Embassy.

He has a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, an MBA from CIIM-Cyprus International Institute of Management and is a candidate for a PhD in Oil, Gas & Energy Engineering from the University of Nicosia.
