Industrial Turnover Index up 2.6% y-o-y in January

The Industrial Turnover Index reached 121.1 units (base 2021=100) this past January, recording an increase of 2.6% compared to January 2023, according to Cystat.

In manufacturing, the Industrial Turnover Index for January 2024 reached 116.6 units, recording an increase of 7.3% compared to January 2023.

Increases were also noted in the sectors of water supply and materials recovery by 19.5% and mining and quarrying, by 17.7%.

A decrease of 15.8% was recorded in the electricity supply sector.
