Retail trade up 5.8% in value, 5.1% in volume in February

The Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for February 2024 surged by 5.8% compared to the same period the previous year, according to data released by CySTAT.

During the same month, the Turnover Volume Index of Retail Trade also climbed by 5.1% in comparison with February of the prior year.

Over the two-month span from January to February 2024, the Value Index has shown an estimated uptick of 5.4%, while the Volume Index recorded an increase of 4.7% compared to the same period in 2023.
