Cyprus Airways to begin new Alexandroupoli-Larnaca direct air connection from 16 July

A direct air connection between Larnaca and the Greek city of Alexandroupoli was recently officially announced.

There will be flights carried out by Cyprus Airways, once a week for the period from 16 July to 3 September, as revealed at a special event held as part of the 25th Travel Expo Cyprus Tourism Exhibition which took place from 19-21 April, at the state exhibition grounds in Nicosia.

As noted by Alexandroupoli Mayor Ioannis Zampoukis who commented on the new route, "Alexandroupoli is once again presenting itself as an attractive destination and on the occasion of the direct air connection between Larnaca and Alexandroupolis, it is investing in its tourist promotion with strong confidence."
