Cyprus Airways connecting Cyprus with the Heart of Europe, Brussels (video)

Cyprus Airways has celebrated a new milestone as the airline launched its flight connecting Larnaca to Brussels twice per week.

Launched on 5 February, the new route represents a significant step forward in Cyprus Airways' mission to connect Cyprus with key international destinations, according to the airline.

As Tasos Michael, the Executive Chairman and CEO of Cyprus Airways stated, “The introduction of the flight to Brussels is not merely the connection between two beautiful destinations, it is a link that was missing between Cyprus, a state member of European Union with the EU Capital. The new route is served by Cyprus Airways’ new aircraft A220-300 that has the most impressive business class in the medium-haul European market. The rear of our cabin is also more comfortable than many of our competitors and you will be flying on one of the most environmentally friendly aircraft in the market”.

In a short speech in Brussels Airport, the Chief Commercial Officer of Cyprus Airways, Christos Limnatitis stated, “We are excited about the opportunities this new route offers, in business, politics, culture and tourism. I want to express my gratitude to the dedicated team of our company who made this route a reality, the team of Brussels Airport who enthusiastically supported us in all we needed and above all our distinguished passengers, for their preference and support for our company."

Addressing the passengers onboard the inaugural flight from Brussels to Cyprus Limnatitis said, “We are thrilled to have you join us on this inaugural flight, our first new route for 2024. We promise you a great travel experience that is not merely about reaching your destination but enjoying the entire journey to Cyprus with our new Airbus A220-300, the most modern and eco-friendly medium range aircraft flying in the skies today.”
