"Offshore Wind Energy in Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean Symposium" cancelled

The international "Offshore Wind Energy in Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean Symposium" that was scheduled to take place in February in Limassol has been cancelled.

Following a decision by the Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany not to open the symposium, planned for 13 and 14 February 2024, important sponsors and German companies have decided to withdraw, the Cyprus Germany Business Association announced.

“Against the background of this development, which has only occurred in the very last few days, the Embassy of Germany and the Cyprus Germany Business Association as organisers have to cancel the symposium to our greatest regret,” it added.
