Having presented the Young Dragon Awards to their recipients, the ceremony’s sponsors and presenters were united in their certainty of their ongoing success and contribution to Cyprus’ business sector.

They also noted that the future was bright for the nominees that may have gone home without an award, and that they should also be congratulated on their career success so far and excellent future prospects.

The first ever CBN Young Dragon Awards, held on 2 December at the Municipal Theatre in Nicosia, were a resounding success.

The invitation-only ceremony saw nine professionals under the age of 40 recognised and awarded for their accomplishments in a range of sectors.

The recipients of the 1st CBN Young Dragon Awards were:

Tourism, Hotel, Leisure, Food and Beverage: Nikolaos Arvanitis, Manager, Events & Entertainment, Melco Resorts & Entertainment

Three finalists in each award category were selected and announced by the expert Awards Committee while a public vote shaped the final result, contributing to and decisively determining the selection of each category's awardee. This is because the public's vote counted on a 50%-50% scale with the Award Committee's vote.

The CBN Young Dragon Awards were presented by Cyta Business, the Gold Sponsor of the Awards was Punin Group, the Young Dragon Champion Sponsor was Ecommbx and Nespresso was the Awards Sponsor.
