Cyprus' higher education institutions discuss cooperation with University of Hanoi

Representatives of Cyprus’ Higher Education Institutions recently had the opportunity to meet with a representative of the University of Hanoi in Vietnam (HANU), with the aim of strengthening international cooperation and promoting educational excellence through exchanges of students and academic/administrative staff.

According to an Education Ministry press release, the meeting, which was arranged by Cyprus’ Education Ministry’s Department of Higher Education, aimed at exploring possible cooperation between the University of Hanoi and the Higher Education Institutions of Cyprus on issues of research and mobility of students, academics/researchers and administrative staff, in offering joint study programmes and in promoting the higher education institutions of Cyprus in Vietnam.

According to the Ministry of Education, Professor Thao presented the main possibilities of cooperation with Hanoi University and the university’s Italian language, culture and international mobility centre (ItaCentro).

She pointed out, according to the press release, that the Erasmus+ programmes (KA171 and KA131) will be key tools for cooperation and presented proposals for exchanges/synergies between Hanoi University and higher education institutions of Cyprus, with the possibility of expanding cooperation with other higher education institutions of Vietnam.
