CBN Young Dragon Awards: Meet the candidates in the Financial Services category

As votes continue to arrive in great numbers, Members of the public have until 26 November to support their preferred candidates and vote for the young entrepreneurs and professionals under the age of 40 who will be awarded as part of the newly established CBN Young Dragon Awards.

The Awards Ceremony will be taking place in Nicosia on 2 December and attendance is by invitation only.

With three finalists in each award category have selected and announced by the Awards Committee, the public can, for a few more days, still continue to cast their vote and shape the final result, contributing to and decisively determining the selection of each category's awardee. The public's vote will count on a 50%-50% scale with the Award Committee's vote.

The three finalists in the Financial Services (Banking, Investing, Insurance, other financial services) award category, as selected by the Awards Committee, are:

Christos M. Ioannou

Company: Bank of Cyprus

Position: Head Private & Affluent Banking

Ioannou was the first Chief Transformation Officer of the Group, and he has demonstrated exceptional leadership capabilities, driving pivotal initiatives that have significantly enhanced the company's performance and efficiency. His strategic vision and execution prowess were evident in the development and launch of innovate products such as Quick Loans, providing online access to personal loans, credit cards, overdrafts and auto loans, fully automated with digital signatures for seamless customer transactions.
