CING vacancy for Senior Scientist/Department Head

The Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics (CING) is looking to recruit a Senior Scientist/Department Head to lead a department dedicated to cancer research, diagnostics and education.

The Department, it said, is dedicated to providing world-class cancer clinical diagnostic services, pioneering research in cancer genetics, epigenetics and therapeutics, and post-graduate level teaching and project supervision primarily in the area of cancer.

“As a Senior Scientist and Department Head, you’ll lead, guide and elevate our team to achieve excellence in cancer research, diagnostics and education,” CING said in its vacancy post. “This position combines a leadership role within CING with a faculty appointment at the appropriate rank commensurate with experience and track record at our postgraduate School, enabling you to shape the department’s direction while mentoring students. You will report to the CEO and Medical Director and serve on the Institute’s Scientific Council, playing an active role in our strategic decisions.”
