Kuwait's Jazeera Airways has announced the launch of its winter schedule, featuring two weekly flights between Kuwait and Larnaca.

This new service aims to enhance year-round connectivity, promoting tourism to Cyprus during both summer and winter seasons, a press release from the airline noted.

Barathan Pasupathi, Chief Executive Officer, highlighted, “We are pleased to introduce year-round flights to Larnaca. By connecting Kuwait direct to Larnaca, we offer tourists from Kuwait an option to visit Cyprus both in summer and winter. We also fly travellers from Cyprus direct to Kuwait with easy access to our extended network of destinations throughout the year. Jazeera has been operating in Cyprus for over a year now and we would like to thank Hermes Airports and the Ministry of Tourism for their unwavering support in promoting tourism into the country. This partnership has been instrumental in expanding our network and we look forward to providing new travel opportunities for travellers from both Kuwait and Cyprus.”

"The flights will operate every Tuesday and Friday, providing travellers from Cyprus with direct access to Kuwait and Jazeera Airways’ extensive network of over 60 destinations across the Middle East, Central and South Asia, Europe, and Africa. With convenient transit options at Jazeera's Terminal 5, passengers can easily connect to a variety of exciting destinations for leisure and business travel," the press release continued.

Maria Kouroupi, Director of Aviation Development, Marketing, and Communications at Hermes Airports, highlighted: "We are happy to see Jazeera Airways expand its presence in Cyprus with year-round flights. This is in line with our objective to secure year-round connectivity and support the efforts of attracting visitors beyond the summer months.
