RIF launches market sounding exercise for new production lines of innovative products

The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) announced the launch of a market sounding exercise aimed at exploring interest and gathering insights regarding the use of Regulation (EU) 2024/795 “Establishing the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform” (STEP).

This initiative aims to create new funding programmes to support Cypriot companies interested in establishing facilities and production lines for the manufacturing of innovative products in the following sectors:

  • Digital and deep technology innovation,
  • Clean and resource-efficient technologies,
  • Biotechnologies.

It is addressed to Cyprus-based companies of all sizes. Under the STEP Regulation, development and manufacturing refer to the process of taking products from the testing phase to full-scale production for the market.

Deadline for submission: 30 October 2024, at 13:00.

Responses will remain confidential and will be used exclusively for the purposes of this market sounding exercise.
