CMMI €2.8m marine infrastructure project given the nod

The Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI) has announced that a proposal to the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation by a consortium led by CMMI, to develop €2.8 million in Strategic Infrastructure under the thematic area “Shipping - Marine Transport”, has been selected for funding.
“The project will develop a Maritime Digitalisation Research Infrastructure, that will significantly contribute to efforts for the digital transformation of Shipping and Marine Transport,” CMMI said.
The Project Coordinator is CMMI’s Research Director for Marine Technology, Dr Ioannis Kyriakides. The Grant Agreement was signed by CEO Zacharias Siokouros.
