ISX Financial is hiring an MSSQL Database Administrator

ISX Financial is looking to recruit an MSSQL Database Administrator, to work full-time at its Nicosia offices.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, installing and managing its databases, the company said. “You will ensure optimal database performance by analysing database issues and monitoring database performance.”

The position requires at least 3 years of experience in the banking or payments sector, with a preference for 5 years or more as an administrator.

Responsibilities include managing database changes and re-designing the company’s MSSQL and Postgres systems; analysing database issues and troubleshooting or configuring the database accordingly; driving automation of code; and monitoring database performance to ensure high levels of security and speed.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study; have proven knowledge of SQL Servers; strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
