Globeducate receives Invest Cyprus International Investment Award

Globeducate was among the award recipients of the 11th Invest Cyprus International Investment Awards, which are held annually to pay tribute to major international investors who have contributed to Cyprus and its past, present and future prosperity.

The award was picked up by Paddy Jansen, Globeducate’s Chief Operating Officer.

Globeducate is one of the world's leading K12 education groups. Founded in 1972 and originally known ad NACE Schools, it currently has 55+ premium bilingual and international schools and online programmes, educating 31,000 students in 10 countries. “We prepare each student to become a global citizen who can shape the future,” the company says.

Its schools specialise in a variety of recognised, highly respected international curricula including the National Curriculum for England (EYFS to A Level), International Baccalaureate (PYP to IBDP), and the national curricula of Canada, France, India, Italy, Malaysia, Portugal Cyprus and Spain. Its students achieve high grades and are accepted into higher education programmes at 25 of the world’s top 50 universities.

Being a member of Globeducate brings many benefits for schools, students and teachers. It is an official partner of WWF (World Wildlife Fund), and works with Eco-Schools in each country, as well as LEGO® Education and, in its ICS schools, Arts International.

“We were very excited to welcome PASCAL Education to Globeducate and to extend our global community to include a new part of the world for us as a group,” it said. “We now have schools in 10 countries and are looking forward to working with our new colleagues in Cyprus. We chose to invest in PASCAL Education as during our conversations with the management team of PASCAL Education it quickly transpired that we had many shared values and goals. It has been a dynamic and important step in the future growth for both organisations.”

PASCAL Education (Cyprus) Ltd, the largest group of K12 English and Bilingual schools in Cyprus, with 3,000 students and 11 schools across three campuses, joined Globeducate in September 2022. The group comprises both day and boarding schools and an accredited International Baccalaureate World School. PASCAL Schools are fully recognised by the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture.

With this year’s edition taking place at Hilton Nicosia, the 11th Invest Cyprus International Investment Awards, organised by GOLD magazine and Invest Cyprus, are supported by Platinum Sponsor PwC Cyprus and Gold Sponsors Eurobank Cyprus and ECOMMBX.
