OEB-CITEA: Collaboration to raise business awareness of cybersecurity issues

The Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB) and Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association (CITEA) have announced the start of a collaboration aimed at informing and raising businesses' awareness of issues related to cyber security.

In today's digital world, cyber security is a vital aspect for any business. The increasing complexity and frequency of cyber-attacks require concerted efforts and the adoption of advanced solutions to address the risks, a joint announcement from the two bodies notes.

Based on a shared commitment to promote cyber security and protect businesses in Cyprus, OEB, and CITEA are joining forces to help create a safe and reliable environment for Cypriot businesses.

The main axis of the cooperation includes the promotion and support of joint educational initiatives and seminars aimed at raising the awareness of businesses and especially at their training on cyber security issues. In addition, as part of the collaboration, relevant information-guide material will be prepared with measures to protect against cyber-attacks, which will be promoted on all the digital channels of the two organisations, the announcement adds.
