Antonis Matemtzis has been appointed General Manager Cyprus at Public Group

Public Group announced that it has appointed Antonis Matemtzis as its General Manager Cyprus, who replaced predecessor Demetris Filopoulos as of 1 April.

“The new General Manager Cyprus counts more than 12 years of remarkable progress at our Group,” the company said in an announcement. With his experience in retail dating back to 2006, Matemtzis was first employed at Public in 2011, as a store manager in Cyprus. He then moved to Greece to become Area Manager before being promoted to Retail Operations Director in 2019.

“We feel the need to express our deepest and sincerest appreciation to Demetris Filopoulos, who for over seven years contributed definitively to achieving our company’s goals,” Public Group said.
