BrainRocket, one of the fast-growing IT companies based in Cyprus, is looking for an experienced lawyer to join its team.

According to the job description, the successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing various types of legal documents and agreements (mainly commercial and corporate agreements; advising the Company on employment matters, (including terminations, protection of salary, working hours and health & safety and employee/contractor status), drafting, amending and advising on employment, service and recruitment agreements, and assisting with the drafting of the company’s employment policies; conducting legal research on various topics and liaise with outsourced providers; and/or associates in order to acquire relevant information; reviewing and advising on data protection/privacy agreements; being familiar with Cyprus company law and basic corporate procedures.

Candidates must hold a Law degree, preferable from a common law jurisdiction; have a minimum of three years of post-qualification experience, with relevant experience in Cyprus employment/labour law; be familiar with Data Protection/Privacy legislation; have excellent command of English and Greek both written and verbal; have outstanding organisational and team working skills; have the ability to prioritise and manage several activities simultaneously; and have a high sense of professionalism, able to work on his/her own initiative and coordinate with colleagues.
