FM meets foreign dignitaries

Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos held a number of meetings with foreign dignitaries on Monday, where he discussed issues including the Cyprus problem and bilateral issues.

He met with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Cyprus, Murat Zyazikov, with the Foreign Ministry tweeting after that "they exchanged views on issues on the bilateral, regional and international agenda, as well as in relation to the Cyprus question".

The FM also had a first exchange of views with UK High Commissioner Irfan Siddiq, on further deepening the ties between the two countries and in relation to the Cyprus problem.

In a meeting with the French Ambassador to Cyprus, Salina Grenet-Catalano, the two discussed the Cyprus problem, Cypriot-French bilateral cooperation, European and international issues, and energy.

According to a post on the Foreign Minister's Twitter account, the excellent level of relations between Cyprus and France was reaffirmed during Kombos and Catalano’s meeting.
