Bridges Over The Waves to present 'Elish' in Nicosia (video)

Bridges Over The Waves is presenting 'Elish,' a butoh performance by Tamar Borer in collaboration with musician Bar Eran and video artist Yarl Ben Shalom, in Nicosia on 12 December.

Butoh is a form of Japanese dance theatre that encompasses a diverse range of activities, techniques, and motivations for dance, performance, or movement.

Tamar Borer has been creating, dancing, and performing in Israel and throughout the world since 1988. In 1990, she was involved in a car accident that left her paralysed in both legs. Despite the accident, she continues to dance, create, teach, and perform professionally with dedication and wholehearted love for the art of dance.

The performance is due to take place at 8pm on Tuesday 12 December, at Egomio Black Box Theatre, 8 Neas Egkomis Street, 2409 Nicosia.
