Plus Properties: 77 projects in 7 years - #WePromiseWeDeliver

In line with its vision of Building Lifestyle, Plus Properties, a leading player in the Real Estate Sector in Cyprus, hosted its yearly gathering at Radisson Blu Hotel in Larnaca to highlight another milestone achieved by the company: 77 projects in 7 years.

The event was attended by more than 200 people including Municipality members, Real Estate agents, bankers, lawyers, clients, partners and friends.

Georges Chehwane, CEO and Chairman of Plus Properties, reflected during his speech on the incredible journey the company has undergone over the past seven years. "We stand here celebrating a momentous accomplishment, reaching 77 projects across the Island, coupled with the successful launch of Plus Properties in Greece, with 7 projects.”

Highlighting his unwavering belief in Cyprus, especially in Larnaca, which he refers to as "The Promising City," Chehwane noted that 54 out of the company's 77 projects have been or are currently under development in Larnaca, attracting over 700 families to invest directly or indirectly across the Island. Additionally, Plus Properties has played a significant role, contributing to the development of more than 30 buildings in Limassol, Paphos, Nicosia, and soon, Protaras.

Recognising the support received from government officials, including the mayor, vice mayor, and their respective teams, Chehwane expressed a hope for the acceleration of the Permanent Residency process and the issuance of title deeds. He also voiced concerns about the escalating number of building permits without adequate consideration for supply and demand indexes, alongside the challenges posed by the cancellation of category (F) and banking restrictions on fund acceptance.

During his speech, Larnaca Mayor Andreas Vyras stated “From the first day, Georges saw the opportunities, he invested and he succeeded. He was the first to call Larnaca “The Promising City”, a statement we all follow until today. Thank you, Georges, for believing in our city since day one, not only in words but in action as well!”

Pavlos Loizou, founder of Ask Wire, also presented during the event and provided market trends & insights with an overview about Cyprus Economy stating interesting figures about Cyprus Real Estate data.

The presentation was concluded by a draw, whereby 6 lucky winners won valuable prizes.

The attendees enjoyed their time and discussed future projects and promising collaborations during a cocktail reception that followed the presentation.
