Job vacancy rate at 2.9% in Q3

The number of job vacancies in the third quarter of 2023 reached 12,274, increasing by 3,100 vacancies (or 33.8%) compared to the same quarter last year when the number was 9,174, according to Cystat.

Compared with the second quarter, the number of job vacancies was down by 753 (-5.8%).

The job vacancy rate in Q3 2023 was 2.9%, unchanged from the previous quarter but up from 2.2% recorded in Q3 of 2022.

Q3’s highest job vacancy rates were observed in the sectors of Administrative and Support Service Activities (4.5%), Information and Communication (4.0%) and Accommodation and Food Service Activities (3.9%).
