Four Cyprus-related companies on new US sanctions list

Sanctions on four entities linked to Cyprus are included in the US Treasury Department's new list of sanctions against individuals who were determined to have aided Russia's defence industry and facilitated the transfer of weapons used against Ukraine.

The list released on the evening of 12 December and compiled by the US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) includes the following Cyprus-related companies:

Azia Shipping Holdings Limited, Fortiana Holdings Limited, Bex Shipping Inc and Stanmix Holding Limited.
