Nicosia Mall joins forces with Papantoniou Group to expand to Limassol

With the aim of creating a new, modern mall in Limassol and make it the ideal shopping, dining and entertainment destination, Nicosia Mall is joining forces with the Papantoniou Group to expand its operations to one of the town’s most prime locations.

The new mall will boast three floors, impressive landscaping and around 105 shops, and its aim will be to offer a unique shopping experience – akin to that offered by Nicosia Mall over the past five years.

The mall will include clothes and shoe shops, tech shops, restaurants and cafeterias, as well as a play area and cinema.

It will be built within the Commercial and Industrial Zone, next to the Jumbo store in the Ayios Athanasios region, without neighbouring any residential areas.

An application has already been submitted for town-planning permission, with the relevant authorities currently examining all the relevant studies (architectural, environmental, traffic, commercial).

Construction work is anticipated to begin in the second half of 2024, while the cost of the investment is expected to be in the range of €120m. It is expected to open around 1,000 new jobs.

It is noted that Nicosia Mall is a company of Cypriot interests that includes major Cypriot groups such as Zorbas Group, PHC Group, Athienitis Group and VLM Group (Voici la Mode Group of Companies).
