KVFund US-based Business Advisory Member Michael Hadjiloucas visits Cyprus

Michael Hadjiloucas one of KVFunds's US-based Business Advisory Members, visiting KVFund portfolio companies Promed Bioscience and Embio Diagnostics Ltd.

During his visit to Cyprus, Hadjiloucas also met with President Nikos Christodoulides.

Described as the first-of-its-kind Cyprus-focused Tech and Innovation Capital Fund, KV Fund is a sub-fund of KV Kinisis Ventures Fund RAIF VCIC PLC which is registered with CySEC. Its primary objective is to fuel innovative local projects that have the potential to compete, scale and expand in the USA as well as other global markets.

In addition to being one of Business Advisory Members, Hadjiloucas is also a Partner and National Pharma & Medical Devices Sector Leader at full-service advisory and accounting firm EisnerAmper.

As Hadjiloucas wrote in a recent LinkedIn post, during what he described as a friendly discussion with Christodoulides, “I updated him on Kinisis Ventures Ltd (KV) work and the 8 Cypriot (start-ups) invested in. I also had a chance to showcase one of KV's portfolio companies Embio Diagnostics Ltd and their product airbeld for indoor air-quality monitoring system.”

In another post, Hadjiloucas shared that, “While in Cyprus last month I visited a couple of Kinisis Ventures Ltd portfolio companies (start ups) within biotech & life science sector. Promed Bioscience working on porcine-medical grade collagen- with a focus on regenerative medicine. Embio Diagnostics Ltd a manufacturer & distributor of portable diagnostic devices in the enviromental, health and food sector. What an amazing group of talended entrepreneurs and scientists.”

On the startup visits, Hadjiloucas was accompanied by Andreas Panayi, Co-Founder, Kinisis Ventures.
