UNIC’s medical students provide health tests in Larnaca villages

The University of Nicosia Medical School’s Mobile Clinic visited Ormideia village in the Larnaca district over the weekend.
Fourteen medical student volunteers put their clinical skills to practice and provided Blood Pressure, Glucose and Body Mass Index measurements to the residents of Ormideia and the neighbouring communities on 21 October.
The expedition took place at the newly established UNIC Medical Centre in Ormideia and was supervised by Dr Soteris Demosthenous, a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Medical School and a Personal Doctor at the Ormideia Centre.
