AUB Mediterraneo students learn how to make bread and halloumi

A group of students from the American University of Beirut - Mediterraneo headed to Koili last weekend where they learned how to make bread and halloumi cheese, which they later enjoyed for lunch.

“One of the attractions of the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo is its location in Pafos, Cyprus, a city with rich cultural traditions,” the University said in a social media post.

AUB Mediterraneo accepted its first students in September, after the Council of Ministers ratified its certification and officially included the university in Cyprus’ list of Higher Education Institutions. It is a twin campus of the American University of Beirut (AUB) in Beirut, Lebanon.

AUB bases its educational philosophy, standards, and practices on the American liberal arts model of higher education, encouraging freedom of thought and expression.
