That is the philosophy behind the Disruption Stage – Game Changers and Innovators Rewriting the Rules at INSPIRE 2026. On 7 October, on Makarios Avenue in Nicosia, entrepreneurs and innovators who have challenged convention, invested in new ideas and technologies, and dared to take a different path will share the stories behind change.
At The Game Changers, Constantinos Kapodistrias, CEO/Executive Director of Chr. Kapodistrias & Sons, Elena Kontou, CEO of SEPAGA E.M.I., George Giovanni and Christoforos Potamitis explore what happens when an idea has the power to change the rules of an industry. How do you challenge something that has been accepted for years? How do you overcome resistance? And how does an idea move from “this will never work” to “how did we ever live without it?”
But disruption also needs innovation that can be turned into reality.
At The Innovators, Dr Symeon Kassianides of Hyperion Group, Dimitris Kyriakou of EFEVRE TECH, Christos Ellinas of Nodes & Links, Nicolas Aristocleous of SIM4FLOW and Dr Vassilios Drakonakis of AmaDema take the conversation from ideas to implementation. What makes a company genuinely innovative? How do you create a culture in which people are encouraged to experiment? The stage also brings forward very different stories of entrepreneurial ambition. And then come the small teams thinking very big.
At Small Teams. Big Disruption., Andreas Charalambous of Capsule Skateboards, Natalia Miranchuk of Soula, Evagoras Xydas of IREROBOT and Dinos Matthaiou of Medtl Medical Technologies demonstrate that disruption does not necessarily require enormous teams or unlimited resources.
Sometimes, what matters most is speed, clarity of vision, resilience and the courage to move where bigger players hesitate.
That is what the Disruption Stage is ultimately about: not another conversation about the next trend, but a stage for the people creating what comes next.
