President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy expresses his gratitude to President Nikos Christodoulides for Cyprus' support for Kyiv.
In a post on X on Tuesday evening, Zelenskyy thanks the Cyprus President for his kind congratulatory message on the occasion of Ukraine's 35th Anniversary of Independence.
''It was during the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union that Ukraine finally opened the first negotiating cluster with the EU. Now it is important to open all the remaining ones. And we know that we can count on Cyprus’s continued support for our EU integration. We also appreciate other forms of support and hope to increase our cooperation in other areas as well", he said on X.
