The Presidency of the Republic of Cyprus has highlighted the importance of international partnerships and their contribution to addressing specific needs and resolving problems within the country, citing the strategic cooperation between Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as an example.
In a post on X, accompanied by a video about cooperation between Cyprus and the UAE, the Presidency said that foreign policy “directly affects domestic governance issues, with tangible results and benefits for the country and its citizens.”
As an example, it cited the strategic partnership between Cyprus and the UAE, which led to the deployment of free mobile desalination units, “increasing daily desalinated water production by 15,000 cubic metres.”
“This development highlights how the international partnerships of the Republic of Cyprus can contribute to addressing specific needs and resolving problems within the country,” it concluded.
