Regional developments and issues concerning trilateral cooperation were at the centre of a telephone conversation between Minister of Foreign Affairs, Constantinos Kombos, and Greece’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis, on Friday.
Kombos also held a telephone conversation with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, during which they discussed regional developments as well as bilateral cooperation between Cyprus and Egypt.
In a post on X, Kombos said that he had spoken by telephone on Friday with Greek Foreign Minister, George Gerapetritis, “as part of our ongoing coordination”.
The discussion focused on current regional developments and issues concerning trilateral cooperation, he noted.
In another post, Kombos said that he had a “substantive” telephone conversation with Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdelatty.
He said that they discussed recent developments in the broader Middle East region, including the Eastern Mediterranean and bilateral partnership between the two countries, focusing on the energy sector and that they agreed to remain “in close touch”.
