Jet2 is ending flight uncertainty by integrating an advanced new feature into its app, offering passengers real-time updates on their flight status up to 72 hours before departure. At the same time, a particularly significant development for Cyprus is the expansion of the Live Transfer Status service to the island this summer.
With this upgrade, travellers in Cyprus can now track their bus transfer to the airport in real time on their return journey, enjoying greater certainty and peace of mind during their holidays.
Real-time information
More specifically, travellers can now view live flight times, flight status and all related updates from 72 hours before their departure. This feature provides the public with accurate and timely information exactly when they need it.
In addition, passengers can see details on how and when to meet their Jet2 Customer Assistant at the resort where they are staying. The app allows them to view visiting hours and locations, as well as the name of the Customer Assistant, enhancing direct service and traveller satisfaction.
‘Live Transfer Status’ expansion to Cyprus
Last year, the company launched the ‘Live Transfer Status’ feature, making Jet2 the first UK travel agent to allow customers to track their bus transfer to the airport in real time.
While the feature was already available in destinations such as the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, mainland Spain, Morocco, Turkey and Bulgaria, from this summer it is being rolled out in Cyprus, as well as in Greece, Malta, Faro and Madeira.
