The Municipality of Larnaca announced that its total investment in road network maintenance and upgrade projects for 2026 now amounts to over €2.3 million (including VAT), noting that these projects "will substantially contribute to improving the condition of the road network, enhancing road safety and upgrading the quality of life of residents and visitors."
The announcement notes that the Municipality "proceeded to sign a contract with the company Iacovou Construction Ltd for the execution of milling and asphalt paving works on roads in the Municipality of Larnaca."
It is reported that "the contract, with a total value of €758,566.00 (including VAT), is part of the broader program for the maintenance and upgrading of the road network in the municipal districts of Larnaca, Livadia and Voroklini, with work expected to begin immediately and be completed within 2026."
It is noted that "this new contract comes in addition to the road network maintenance projects that have already been completed during 2026, with a total value of €1,611,260.00 (including VAT)."
