The real estate market continues to be developing on a positive note, with sales in July of this year amounting to 2,040 and increasing by 11% compared to the corresponding month in 2025.
According to data from the Department of Lands & Surveys, for the period January - July 2026, a total of 12,047 sales documents were filed compared to 10,561 in the corresponding period of 2025, recording an increase of 14%.
Larnaca expands its momentum
In Limassol, which maintains its lead among the districts in terms of the number of sales, property sales rose to 695 in July 2026 compared to 579 in July 2025, marking a 20% increase. A similar increase was recorded in the first seven months, with sales documents reaching 3,959 compared to 3,304 in the first seven months of last year.
Larnaca is expanding its momentum, with 436 sales in July this year from 395 in July last year, recording a 10% increase, while in the first seven months of 2026, sales documents increased by 11% to 2,599 compared to 2,343 in the corresponding period last year.
Sales remain stable in the capital
Property sales in Nicosia remained unchanged at 423 in July 2026, while for the period January - July 2026 an increase of 5% was recorded, with 2,564 sales documents compared to 2,432 in the same period in 2025.
Property sales in Paphos increased by 15%, reaching 395 in July this year compared to 342 in July last year, while for the first seven months of 2026, Paphos counts 2,387 sales documents compared to 1,995 in the first seven months of 2025, marking an increase of 20%.
Property sales in the district free Famagusta recorded a negligible 3% decline, as they stood at 91 in July 2026 from 94 in July 2025, while during the first seven months of the year, sales documents increased by 10% to 538 from 487 in the corresponding period last year.
