According to Euromoney, Eurobank stood out for the successful completion of one of the most important banking transactions in the Cypriot market, its strong business growth, the effective implementation of digital transformation and its contribution to strengthening Cyprus' international investment and business profile.
Commenting on the awards, Eurobank’s CEO, Michalis Louis, said: “Euromoney’s distinctions confirm Eurobank’s dynamic course and the successful implementation of our Group’s strategy in Cyprus. 2025 was a landmark year as we successfully completed the merger of Hellenic Bank and Eurobank Cyprus, creating the country’s largest banking and insurance organization, and further strengthening our ability to support households, businesses and the local economy. At the same time, we accelerated our digital transformation, invested in innovation and strengthened Cyprus’ position as an international business and financial center. A particularly important step is the operation of Eurobank’s Representative Office in India, the first physical presence of a Greek or Cypriot bank in the country, opening new channels of development, cooperation and investment opportunities between India, Cyprus and Europe.
This double distinction reflects the commitment and professionalism of our people, as well as the solid support of the Eurobank Group, whose strategy, expertise and continuous investments contribute decisively to the creation of a strong organization with a leading position in the market. The recognition from Euromoney confirms that our choices create value for customers, the economy and society, and is an incentive for us to continue to innovate and grow.”
