India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has thanked President of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides for his wishes on becoming “the longest-serving Prime Minister in India’s history” and expressed his commitment to further strengthen the strategic partnership with Cyprus.
"Thank you President Christodoulides for your warm wishes. I fondly recall your recent state visit to India and fully reciprocate your commitment to further strengthen the time-tested friendship and strategic partnership between India and Cyprus" the Indian PM wrote on 'X'.
Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides had earlier congratulated Modi on becoming “the longest-serving Prime Minister in India’s history”, noting that "this remarkable milestone reflects years of dedicated service and leadership. Cyprus values its strategic partnership with India and is committed to further deepening our cooperation for the benefit of our peoples."
